Probably cause people like me would assassinate someone who lied to me about this game lol. I've been following this damn thing ever since it was announced...I'm sick and tired of waiting.

updated the system requirements btw...

Quote:

At E3 the systems used to play the Enemy Territory Quake Wars had:

Apparatus: Area-51 7500
Processor: Intel Pentium D Processor 950 w/ Dual Core Technology 3.4GHz 800MHz FSB
Operating System: Genuine Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2
Power Supply: Alienware 650 Watt ATX 2.0 Power Supply with Active PFC
Chassis: Alienware Full-Tower Case - Space Black
Chassis Upgrades: AlienIce 2.0 Video Cooling
Motherboard: Alienware NVidia nForce4 SLI X16 Motherboard
Memory: 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz - 2 x 1024MB
Video: NVIDIA 7800GTX 512MB
System Drive: High Performance - 160GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s 7,200 RPM w/ NCQ & 8MB Cache
Primary CD ROM/DVD ROM: 16x DVD-ROM Drive with Software DVD Decoder
Sound Card: Alienware Edition Sound Blaster X-Fi High Definition 7.1 Audio with XRAM Technology
Network Connection: Integrated High Performance Gigabit Ethernet

We were running our E3 build of ET:QW at 1024c768 with 2xMSAA (MultiSampling Anti-Aliasing) locked at 30 FPS. Your mileage may vary.

While I can't remember the official system requirements off the top of my head, that is not the system requirements, it is merely a system they used to play the game with Razz

2nd to last paragraph

Quote:

Instead of a tutorial or a single player element, players will be given the option of accepting tasks issued by the game based on what class you are playing and conditions in the current campaign. For example, a player who has just joined a game as a GDF Ranger could be offered the task to infiltrate the Strogg base and disable a Plasma mortar so that the rest of his team can overrun the base. Players can choose to accept these tasks or disregard them and follow their own agenda instead.

That quote is old or taken a bit out of context. It has been confirmed the game will have bots for singleplayer (or coop) offline matches. It'll have no singleplayer "campaign" mode like BF1942 had, but not even BF2 had it.

I know I read they are putting work into making bots with good AI. You can probably create a LAN game with bots that would be like a single player game.

I thought these were official release dates and not store guesses (IGN) Sad

Release Date:
US: July 2, 2007
Europe: June 15, 2007
Australia: December 31, 2007

Was all excited to get to play this month, but as there is no demo even out, next month seems realstic. play.com says: Due for release on 31/08/2007

That would suck, hope they pic a release date soon or give us MP demo Smile Was hoping this would be the next game I buy, without a half a year wait (started looking into it just month ago). Just hate when a new game feels already old, because it's been hyped a year early. Crysis already feels like "wasn't that the game we played half a year ago?" and it isn't coming out for months.

Games should do what movies does, 1 year before release a teaser (one screenshot maybe), 6months before a trailer. Then 1month before all the pictures and trailes you'd want and a demo/mp-demo.

No review, no demo.

It'd be best to consult this thread before getting your hopes up about anything.

Omg plzdie. These people have done ET. -_- I like games with objectives and variation in classes and this game has it plenty. Not like that shitfest of BF with capturing flags.Oh and its rare game made only for PC so you shouldnt think like that.
