The sad part of this story is I can actually imagine these being HALO 3 gfx, and I can actually imagine kiddies slobbering over them and buying this game in the millions.

Dude, what? Halo 2 on PC uses the same character models as Halo 2 on Xbox 1.

No, it's just NO. You don't seem to understand the difference between models, textures, and bump mapping. Please go back to your corner.

Halo_2_INSTALLFIX_iNTERNAL-iND

Halo_2_INSTALLFIX_iNTERNAL-iND
*******************************
hi there,
the reason why the release of Halo 2 won't install on Vista is
because Startup.exe is fucked!
so if you want to play the game, you will have to extract the .iso
on your computer and replace the Startup.exe with the original one.
The game will install perfectly
take this release only if you want it
This is why it's iNTERNAL
buy this game if you like it
enjoys!

Uh, yeah, so, they're still the same models one way or another. Just with a new effect here and there.

Some fix was released..
Quote: | The following files (3) are different (when compared to the working BW image) Startup.exe - 11 19 11 19 byte pattern @ 0x7060, RAZOR1911 tag? - PE header CRC modified to match - Digital signature broken due to above 07a_highcharity.map.dtz 07b_forerunnership.map.dtz Replacing the RAZOR1911 Startup.exe with the original fixes the STD problem.
replace startup.exe from iso file with this one and then try to install game
good luck and have fun...
thx to Goranstein

Naish befor you type out your stupidity's you should read what I wrote over again & was explaining that doing a duel boot was a good way to at least try out vista you stupid ignorant fuck. On top of that I have a 8800 GTS I didn't update my signature. So fuck you very much go fuck yourself & learn to respect peoples point of view or the help they are trying to give instead of acting like hot shit. Too bad that shit makes your brain go to mush & you can't take in the information properly when you read. Also people have to understand that this game will never be released for XP. It's microsoft...why would they release it for xp when there trying to promote vista...Seems alot of peepz have a lack of common sense.
