way back when avirox posted something about the HOSTS file being like this:
go in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc (may be c:\winnt...)
then find a file called "hosts" (if you dont have it, make one)
go to the bottom and add:
thats on WinNT/2k/XP machines, Win9x/ME machines will have it in C:\Windows (the main dir)...I know this because we had to do something for that file in our network at work and we're running win98se.
anyone get reverberating sound when playing this game? I got it to stop crashing with video but MAN it sucks that I have to have the game muted

hey all..im having some problems with this game...after installing i try to run the game, but i need to search for updates for directx first..so i do, when i hit next i get to the finish screen without installing something..seems to be installed already, but when i try to run the game the same thing happens over and over again...
So i try the exe file in the game data folder...the game drops out in windows and it just says fatal...im able to play COD united offensive which also need directx9.0c...anyone know what might fuck this up?
