Although Hospital Tycoon is a more "Desperate Housewifes" approach to the "Hospital Tycoon" genre, what Codemasters really has seem to do is get all those fond memories of Theme Hospital back. I've already joined you guys. Uninstalled Hospital Tycoon and already re-installed Theme Hospital. I haven't been able to get Theme Hospital running flawless, whenever I play the game the mouse flickers I really hate the story mode, too much boring stuff going on. Why should I care about which doctors likes which nurses? The campaign levels are too short too, 15 minutes to finish one episode? I sure hope the later levels takes longer. And why is it that whenever I finish an episode, the next episode takes place in the "same" hospital... "same" as in the map is the same, the doctors are the same, but all my changes has been removed... like I didn't do anything

yah,this game is quite fun. Played for an hour yesterday. But youre right, they sound like The Sims, and thats abit annoying, for the rest Great Game! A quick verdict of the game: Pro: - Finally a hospital tycoon game, been too long - It does have some of the comedy from Theme Hospital Con: - Hospitals are always empty*, 95% of the time there are less than 10 patients in the hospital area (which includes those that are cured). Waiting lines was one of the hardest challenges in Theme Hospital, here they are non-existent - The diseases are boring and most of them are annoying (most patients are either flashing or sending out "shock waves" or something like that) - This whole episodes thing is annoying (boring story and resetting the hospital after each episode is bad) - The camera is very annoying. Max zoomed out is way too much zoomed in. And you can't see what's happening at the rooms at the bottom of the screen because of the wall - The user interface is annoying Very disappointing game At the moment I'm playing episode 2, my mission is to heal 30 patients... number of patients in my hospital: 1... number of cured patients in my hospital: 1 This is going to take a while

Yeah, pretty much... unless things change in the third season (which I just started)... it's a pretty short game, I haven't played that many hours and I'm already 2/3 through the game

I'm currently installing Theme Hospital, hoping I can get it working with DosBox

Well, it did on my machine... quite annoying But since I'm using Vista now, I tried first without DosBox, and it actually works... better than in WinXP... who would have thought that?

hmm...the game takes ages to load in both story and sandbox mode. took 4 minutes, and there isnt any HDD activity at all . anyone else has this problem?

and yeah, this game is bloated shit...eats up 700mb of ram

dumb game. no where like theme hospital. played for around 30 mins or so and i am at a point where i just sit and watch the game run...i dont even need to build new rooms cuz there is a lack of people in my hospital..u dont even need more than 1 equipment type cuz there is no need.. i have so much money i just hire new doctors n shit to fill my hospital up.
