Anyone getting alot of bugs/heat issues with this? 3 times now the game has cacked out on me, and it's getting kinda frustrating.

1st time: track/textures go all black, shortly after finishing the race (god knows how) before it saves it pops up "Cannot Read Disc" and closes. Disc is fine, no scratches, brand new.

2nd time: freezes, then reboots the console, again, before it could save.

3rd time: during photo mode tying to get that perfect picture it crashed back to dashboard just as I had taken the photo but befor ei could save it.

This all seems to start happening after a couple hours of play. This REALLY irks me because I'm concerned if I'll ever get to complete a endurance race in one sitting. (Le Mans 24hr on GT3 was the best!). I'm about ready to takea sledgehammer to my 360 (not even 2 months old yet) and sending it to MS with a nice letter full of what they can do with the remains, and very orifices they can stick them in.

Or should I go buy a mini-fridge and put my 360 in there while I play?

i can has computar?!

Hate to tell you guys but the ROD is coming to get you. I had the same issue before when almost a year ago I downloaded the demo of Lost Planet. All of the sudden the game froze up, I rebooted my console, I played for maybe 10 min, froze up. Played again, got some strange looking dots (a classic sign of overheating) and the console froze again. Next week I got 3 red lights (ROD).

I'd take the box to walmart a do an "exchange", MS deserves it.

no remove and clean heatsinks and cpu/gpu, apply some silver thermal paste. Piss off those crap X clamps that cause the board to warp and use machine screws instead.

no need for the rolls eyes, i'm just stating what i have seen for myself, this is the only issue i have seen and usually occurs when disc is spinning down (all 4 are samsungs), and all 4 using different firmwares from ixtreme to xtreme 3

I believe they do if you brake a lot, or hard.
Imagine those speeds and what it takes to brake that car weighing what? a ton plus-minus at 250km/h.... theres a lot of friction and heat coming of that

i believe the light up when they made of carbon and ceramic fiber, normal brakes don't

one set costs about 10k, they are very efficient but they wear of fast

Not only do brakes get hot but at some point they used magnesium rims in racing cars and when that baby caught fire it would glow brighter than the sun and was nearly impossible to put out.

No, its not region free.

The GST release "Forza Motorsport 2 (c) Microsoft Game Studios *FULLDVD* *PAL*" will work correctly. There is no difference between the collectors edition and standard as the collectors came with a MS code to download 3 cards + a fancy manual
