No problem with a 7800GT, Bloom and 2xQ AA in control panel works fine.

Same here. Completely hard-locks my system if I run using that resolution. Haven't got my hands on the reloaded executable yet, but I think it's a bug in the game not a bad hack.



I've discovered a quick work-around for the problem. If you run the game in window mode and make the resolution 1400*900 or 1500*900 it will run just fine. If you enter any value that is in between 1400-1500 the game will lock up. Hopefully we will get a patch soon. This same issue exsisted in the demo of the english version, yet they never fixed it.

There's a difference between a game being hard, and the games AI cheating.
In this game, much like in Chrome, the AI cheats. Instantaneous reaction time + pinpoint accuracy every time + the enemy's aim is completely unaffected while it's taking hits.

You can be unloading rounds center mass and into their heads....yet they maintain pinpoint accuracy while taking constant projectile impacts.

At least in FEAR, when you hit the enemy, he would stagger backwards due to impact and was unable to aim accurately. This is just a lazy excuse for AI coding.

The story seemed good but the shoddy AI ruins this title.

Yeah, that's true. So fing anoying, especially at higher levels. You will basically be going through dozens of enemies with 3HP. That's on Normal, altough I don't suppose AI is affected with difficulty setting, so you might be screwed anyways.

Exactly. Initially, I thought "OK, the robots are just programmed to be really good shots. Damn, that Hubbardium really works for those f*ckers."

Then, I noticed their aim was never affected by my shots. I started having to reload a ridiculous amount of times ... on normal... 5 minutes in.

To make a potentially long story short, this game has nice graphics and an interesting storyline, but the AI is so f*cking bad (I figured out their pattern in the first encounter) that you simply can't enjoy the game.

I even tried playing through with "CheatImmortality 1", but it just wasn't any fun. Uninstalling was actually fun though...

Just finished it. I was quite pleased with the ending Smile Only if they'd let me have another mission while invincible killing everything in my path, including that bitch.
