If your writing skills are bad, I suggest you to write compositions in Hebrew, like little stories. Then you may increase your writing skills and be successful at writing in both English and Hebrew.

Just go to nearest steimatsky shop and buy english grammar teaching books, especially those, which are meant to prepare you for bagrut.
For example I have "Grammar in Focus" by Marcelle Dray,Jean Koren and others.
This book is really useful in studying/refreshing grammar rules.
As it was suggested earlier, read some good classic english books...
and watch english news channels. Smile

I think I will never really know when to use Have, has, had, had had and etc. Razz

Except for the classic cases, it's really confusing and I have no idea which one of them I should pick Razz
Is that what you've meant FreeDriver?
Because time tense aren't a problem and the only problematic thing I can think of is this had, has, have thingy Wink

Same here, maybe a common problem among non native speakers. I like to think that I know english quite wel(got good grades)l but I know that sometimes I sound very messed up Razz

I think as AnimalMother pointed out, that unless english is your first language (and, i would add, unless if your work is mainly focused on the english language, translating, speaking all day etc etc) and you can do a decent conversation with others, you shouldn't worry and continue to speak, read and write in english. Forums, films (even with subtitles), speaking with someone in english whenever you can ... and always trying to understand anything (phrases, grammar, words, etc etc) that others "more skilled" write and without having fear to ask to others ... finally add if you can some professional help too (a private teacher or some courses), or dl some english course book and start to study while you do the rest Smile

There are only 10 kinds of people : those that understand binaries and those that don't.

Are you still here? A real man wouldn't hesitate a second, leaving the forums after getting 3 times banned.
