It seemed to me that is was Michael in the coffin. Not only would NOBODY want to come to his funeral for what he did to them on the island but if you notice it was a black city neighborhood where the funeral home was at.
But I guess will all know for sure in the Fall !

Its so obvious the rescuers are actually the Dharma Initiative and they are going to kill alot of people
my guess it will be the first people to jump into the fight- Sawyer or maybe Sayid

Last year they played like 10 episodes starting in October then when on hiatus till march.....
now we have to wait till feb....fuck, tv sucks as it is...lost is like the only good show

smells like bullshit the new season isnt suposed to air until febuary?
those wankers need to leak a couple of lost episodes though if they want to gain anyones intrest in the series again, cant say ive really missed it

It's coming January 31, they barely made the deadline of February. 8 of the planned episodes are in the can due to the writers strike, so it might be a very short season.

Why are they opening at all? They should do the novel thing, like "24" the series, and wait till they have all the eps...

They were planning to do a 16 Episode season from the beginning. There were no plans to go for 24. Has got something to do with finishing the series with just under 100 Ep's.
So 8 Episodes is like a half season. But I still agree they should have waited for them to finish the rest of it.

I bet they are trying to give the audience what they want; answers, without dragging on the plot for decades. As a side effect, there may be a dozen plotholes a long the way

I meant "24" the series, not 24 episodes  |
