The letters hold some significance.. if you look in one of their threads one of the admins has this to say in a sort of "teaser" thread:

Quote:
Fact #9:

The first letter in the countdown is "O". The second is "W".

Cheers,

Nick

Was there "E" ? If yes, we have word OWNED , if not we have OWND, and there is no letter now, so 50% Very Happy that now is the last countdown Cool

It's out!!!
I was watching end of last countdown and after it I got:
"Download 3DMark05 here"
But I have a little problems with connecting to futuremark site Sad
FireFox says "Conection refused"

Edit 1:
Ok, I can see list of avalible mirrors with 3DMark05, searching for working one...

Edit 2:
I couldn't download .torrent from futuremark, but i Managed to grab one from MajorGeeks.

You can have an active social life and still be excited about the release of software.

I bet you think he should get excited about something more masculine, like the start of a football league or the release of a new sports car?

I used last official - 61.77.
But no doubt - In same tests Radeons beat Gfs (according to TechReport), with X800 XT PE on top.

no with normal drivers (4,9) x800 XT PE gets normally 4500 or so while on on beta drivers released recently it gives 5800(!)..... i used those betas but to *OLD* R300/R360 core they give really little boost (20-30 marks) so comon use betas those official are already old and alot slower.. u shud get like umm 3k atleast (yeah and remember Athlon 64 is slower in 3dmark 2003/5 comparing to P4 on P4 results are higher abit......)

Geforce FX line is really slow in Pixel Shader 2.0 processing and new games and 3dmark 2005 is all about that...... 05 is a massive stress test for PS 2.0 so thats why all FX cards are owned there 9600 PRO is faster then 5950 ultra etc.......

3766 with Athlon XP 3000+ and X800 Pro @ 16 pipes but Pro clocks.
This benchmark really scares me, FPS are so low with one of the best graphics cards to date. I just hope games that use up that much power take their time to show up...

Futuremark.3DMark05.Pro.v1.0.Keygen.Only-ORiON

After a bit of tweaking and with 66.32 drivers (from 3D Guru) I get
2925. Enough for me.
