Can't see my ADSL2+ with Annex M either (23/2.5mbit).

Also you should consider the fact that ADSL2 is maximum 16mbit and ADSL2+ is up to 28mbit... Wink

This connection i have 'at work' is kinda weird... strange protocols, blocked here and there, bla bla but it is ultra fast, but i can't get an acurate measure, the speeds fluctuate a lot, i've had values over 55Mbit/s (mostly at night)

Anyway, here's a pic of what seems a somewhat reliable test:

4096/256 cable... was going to get the new 20mbit, but since Virgin decides to traffic shape, I don't really want to pay double for 20mbit for 1 hour of the day then 5mbit for the rest of it Smile

Is that your internet connection speed or your LAN speed?

I didn't know there were ISP's providing such speeds...

but then again, here in Portugal the ISP are all a bunch of f*ckin retards....

In Toronto, Canada we can get around:

7-8Mbit down/1-2Mbit Up with 100gb limit/month for $45/month. Not bad but by far nowhere near as good as Japan or some Central Euro countries. Back in the mid-late 90s it was common to get 10mbit down/1-2Mbit up (unlimited downloads) for $40/month or less but since there are waaayyy more subscribers these days it was inevitable to curtail the speeds for awhile. Now we're almost regained what we lost since those days.

Hell.. I'm NOT complaining about almost 1mb/sec down and 100kb/sec up although the stuff to download these days is much greater than what it was back in the mid/late 90s. Razz

MSI GT72S 6QF Dominator Pro S 29th Anniversary Intel i7 6820HK @ 4.0Ghz, 32GB DDR4-2133 RAM, 2x256GB Raid0 Toshiba NVMe 2.5 inch PCIe SSD, Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 OC'ed 200+ Core / 200+ Mem, 17.3 inch LG IPS HD Display @ 75Hz, Intel 7265AC Wifi, Windows 10 Pro BIOS version: .112 EC Firmware version: .105

Current Broadband speed record: 329.1 Mb/sec down // 21.73 Mb/sec up

Well, we have more than 1mbit here but they either cost, are capped, or have 'fair use' policy.
I'll wait until hell freezes over to get my fat pipe. Laughing

I thought things were quite different, here (at home) i have 8Mbits down and 1 Mbit up, for about $40 a month, but the ISP does Traffic Shaping and we are limited to 30Gb international downloads and no limits for national downloads
