However I have heard good things about 3.40-oe and its improved psx emu capability I think it may be worth its while also anyone know the deal with multi disc games like final fantasy 7? how would you alternate between discs as I'm about to play Valkyrie profile again and what about snes/megadrive emulation is that effected?

But I don´t see any major difference between 3.03 and 3.40, although I don´t run PSX games.

Shouldn't be a problem with FF7. You can save at the end of each disc. Just save, quit the game, start the game with the new CD mounted/loaded and load the savegame.
