They DO sell though, lots. Especially to audiences that won't bother with sim-like controls (younger children, my girlfriend, etc.) or like using the keyboard. Or even like tuning. Don't forget what a huge seller U1 was since it allowed players to customize their cars as they liked visually and performance-wise.
I guess that each time a new NFS comes out, unless it has something really good to offer, I'll just waste a few hours completing the career and some of its challenges before going back to racing online on TDU.

Could be the title, cause the title Pro Street isnt official:

November 2007 is a well-guessed release range, since all games since Underground 1 were released November of each year. Early 2008 has been around as well, but EA has been spending one year each time for each game, so I don't see why that would change. And anyway, 31st May would be too early for an official announcement preluded by a trailer if the release date is in 2008.
I vote for November 2007.

So is there widescreen support yet? I remember playing the Carbon demo and there was no widescreen support so i didn't bother with the full game.

Most Wanted is dark and blurry and is one of the best NFS games. But I know what you mean, this next gen (omg im so tired of this term, so retarded to call it "next gen", its not next, its current, because we live in it) bloom, blur, hdr, brownish shit has gotten old very fast.

Dont worry, im sure those are just pics from the cgi intro. The final version will have blurry vasoline filter turned on.
