If anyone's interested I have been playing about with mods for ET, and have found this one to be a little gem. It has its own option screen so that you can adjust ET to play any way you like.

I started with Sage's, it is a good mod but I did'nt like some of the stuff in there, with Bmans you can turn it off if you don't want it.

I'm playing with both. I spent the whole morning merging the best bits from both into my mod and throwing away the ones I don't need. And to be honest...now I might spend couple of months with this Wink

How does this mod work, and do you have to install it or change everything manually?

EDIT: Never mind, i finally found the 'download button'
But what do i have to do with the files from the rar-file?

I modded some of the stuff myself and I tried the other ones too.. But unfortunately the feeling of the game and missions are a let down for me Sad and it cant really be changed with mods. Too bad cuz i was looking forward to it..

It's not all that hard to figure out, I'm thick as a brick, but managed to do it.

1st you get 2 files, this one is the called installer and unpacks a file thats in your game/data dir
http://www.ufo-extraterrestrials.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1746

Next get the Bman's mod, this you unzip to your Game/data dir, overwriting any files.
http://www.ufo-extraterrestrials.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1691

That's it, now when you run the game there is a extra options screen with tons of mods you can turn on/off or adjust, really makes the game rock.

NOTE, when you install the installer, which is just a bat file make sure it installs in the game dir, not the game/data dir or it wont work, took me ages to find this out.

There was a battle bug (typo) in 1.6 but has been fixed in 1.6.1, it would crash in battle.
Just inzip 1.6.1 into your game/data dir overwriting your old 1.6 and the problem should be solved.

EDIT 1.6.2 has just been released which fixes another small bug.

I was playing last night and found the damage to crashed UFO really helpful. Now all you have to do to find the crashed UFO is follow the damaged buildings, terrain and alien body's to get to your goal.

Thats sentence made me laugh, shameless self-promoting,is "cybernetics" something
you can study at school? Why dont they make a decent robot then instead of this AI,
which obviously will never live up to their expectations.

There's a new mod out called FrankenMod, that combines the big 2, Bmans and Moriity's mod, it adds tons of stuff with the promise of more to come. I'm still hooked, cannot put the bugger down.
