Next year, after a few good exclusive games are out and it's stretched it's legs i'll consider getting one. The price should have dropped a fair bit by then too.
At the moment I see absolutely no reason to get one if you have a 360.

My opinion on this war is , the 360 has the market on the great titles, where as PS3 seems to have the more dependable system and it seems the great game titles are slow to produce for the PS3 for some reason I'm sure Microsoft has a lot to do with that, so as long as the game developers keep releasing popular titles for the 360 first and then the PS3 there will never be a fare fight, as far as blue-ray time will tell, honestly i have a 360 and haven't thought of a PS3 due to lack of titles, if Microsoft would square away the 3red light and drive failures they would have a great system , but micro$ofts way of fixing is to replace as we have seen with their OS market.....

LOL, better in what way?
I didn't think Sony had done a good job with the marketing, maybe I was wrong. Nothing from the PS3 has impressed me so far. The majority of games on both consoles run and/or look better on the 360.

ps3 isnt that better i like the movement sensor and the stylish case but better to buy a 360 and i like the 360 better too

It's what I've always done with system though I've never really cared for sony. I did like the first PS though. My only reasons for not getting a PS3 is of course the price with little worthwhile games to play. Granted they got a couple decent titles. But...is it me or is Sony seem to be losing their exclusive titles. Hell theres even talk now that the new Metal Gear Solid will be hitting the X360 as well now though their just rumors at the moment. Though I could see it happening. With the sales of PS3 not being where it would have been they'd make a whole hell of alot more money by putting it on 360 as well. |

Metal Gear Solid 4 Coming To 360
Check out the latest EGM Live, with Shane Bettenhausen and the rest of the crew as they further discuss the upcoming launch of Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4. With the revelations that the PS3 version will be released sometime before March 08, the crew more or less confirm that a Xbox 360 version of the game will be released around six months to a year after the PS3s.

Intresting to see if such games take advantage of the 50gb capacity.
But I guess not if they plan to also release on 360.
So all that extra cash for blu-ray is mainly for HD movie playing ability.
