Seems lately with every new person that joins the post a couple posts, piss everyone off, or just post some really lame crap then never come around again. Especially on new release of games.

I agree, and I voted yes for the following reasons:

-Most new users are not here to stay.
-Too many people just register, post one or two posts, then are never seen again.
-Whenever a big overhyped game is on the verge of being released, the forums often get overcrowded by new users asking stupid questions.

Plus, it's not like users cannot read through the forums without being registered. I can only imagine how much job you moderators have cleaning up after such new users.

Upcoming PC games 2009 and onwards

I voted NO because there is no reason to lock the registrations now. Maybe when Halo 2 comes out and all the kiddies try to find out where/how to get it, whether it works on XP, the crack, maybe some XP workaround.

Oh my god, maybe then locking (for a couple of days only) would be the smart thing to do.

Well they could at least get rid of that lame message at the top of the forums from when registrations were reopened.

As the senior intellectual of this forum, I propose that we close registration 3 days from now for the next 6.457 days.
