I'm quite impressed with the dev's of this game. The forum is gettign a bunch of input threads and errors and one of the US executives is actually responding to them. He's talking to the team apparently to bring in 1440x900 rez Smile So obviously they care about the community. More than I can say about UBI where no one was helped or responded to about vegas problems and deleted all threads and posts from when UBI announced a ded server for it.

btw...you vista users..

this is a PM I got from sven (the exec.) after I asked him some questions.

[QUOTE=Sven]I'll have a read. We'll be compiling all sorts of input on LP and feeding it back to the team. We have about six weeks before launch and we're expecting to have a patch ready for launch day with a few tweaks and fixes. Obviously we're still working closely with ATI and Nvidia on their drivers and such too so expect some performance improvements as well.

Good news. Hopefully along with that 1440 rez will come 1680 rez. *crosses fingers* Man it will be nice to finally experience dx10 not in lame demos and pre-release hype but with an actual GAME.

those rez's are sure to come upstart. The community over there is really strong and working together even just as users and with Sven being in the forums with us it's a huge moral booster. Their doing this port VERY well and naish has a issue/i want this kinda thread started for complaints and wishes and so far A LOT of people want 1440 and Sven is talking to the dev team tomarrow about putting it in. But as of now there are some ways to get it to work you just gotta read around the board. But again I really admire the community going on over there, Sven rawks Smile

Oh... my... god... They have to either release new drivers now, or withdraw them from the market already.

Before you begin testing, there are a few points I want to convey about “Lost Planet”. “Lost Planet” is an Nvidia-sponsored title, and one that Nvidia has had a chance to look at and optimize their drivers for. The developer has not made us aware of this new benchmark, and as such the ATI Radeon driver team has not had the opportunity explore how the benchmark uses our hardware and optimize in a similar fashion. Over the next little while AMD will be looking at this, but in the meantime, please note that whatever performance you see will not be reflective of what gamers will experience in the final build of the game.

wtf? i thought it came out on 360 first and 360 have ati chip inside, no Razz

Not as good as it used to be. It's all console ports nowadays, with just a few exceptions.
