StarCraft 2 is in the works as an RTS with visuals similar to C&C3.
Ghost is canned because they came in too late for the xbox and were out of budget to up for the xbox360.
However you hate WoW, it is currently the most played MMO in the world thus generating enough money for bliz' independance.
Note to self: come up with a good sig.

People hate WOW becuase it's a medicore MMORPG for newbs, Not becuase it's a MMORPG

not that i care that much nowadays, wow just proved to me blizz can make games i'm not interested in.

They won't do another MMORPG, else they'd compete with themselves, which they don't want to happen since they are planning new WoW expansions every year...
Trust me, I have friends who are Blizz (and are no lifes) fanboys who are gonna move right away to their new MMO if it's one so... Blizzard are smart, they know how it works.
Another RTS or a new game type is more likely to happen... Lots of Frozen Throne players will buy the new RTS, Blizzard will have more $$$ so they can make 2 WOW expansions a year and "no lifes" will be happy.
I think I read FROM Blizzard it's gonna be the follow-up of an already existing game.
I'm pretty sure their new game won't surprise anyone, and StarCraft 2 seems to be "the one".
