That patch was really just a selling point for AMD at the time. You can perfectly well do those little effects with a 32-bit CPU.

well..true..I don't even know how old teh patch is lol, I didn't discover it till earlier this year  but none the less it's nice to see SOME support to an older game. |

haha that wasn't a quote, I wrote it myself.
true the game does suck, I tryed it out well I only had 9fps and I used a fps mod someone made 10hours ago that got my fps up to 40 and there aint shit in this game, its the same feeling as HL2 gravity gun effects just with more boxes and garbage that just ends up getting in the way and is useless for cover.

totally delayed on this but...havok FX doesn't utilize it's own dedicated hardware. IT uses what you already have (if you go back and read my post about it) and it's more built into the engine of the game so yes they could put it into the 360 and without needing an extra stupid gay card like ageia 
Nvidia and ATI both have implimented a feature in their cards with SLI/Crossfire that the 2nd GPU of the set will act as your physics dedicated card if you were to use a setup like that. |

Now the game isn't optimised for pc's without the card.
So it SEEMS that the physics card makes a huge difference.
The gfx are good but not the best, and the normal physics can be handled by a good/average pc. I mean, 4 fps in the menu, come on....what physics have to be calculated?
First optimise the game for pc's without the card, then we can compare it against a pc with a card.
Maybe the card isn't performing that good, and that's why they downgraded the game for normal pc's.
A new way of cheating devs? Way to go....

It might seem so for stupid people, but it just ain't so. Add 2 and 2 together and you will know that they screwed over the normal software rendering on purpose just to make you tihnk that their card is so awesome.
But it just ain't so. Just a bunch of marketing BS. |

There was a test about this some where on the net showing that it slowed performance in Graw , that with this card this game was caped to 35fps and with out it worked with 50-60 . |

ya I remembered that too lol. General games that used the card and I think graw was the first one at the time people took about a 10-30FPS drop rate. |

Hahahah English is my 4th language, it's normal that I can make mistakes. But if it was my main language I sure wouldn't type "Your" instead of "you are" because that's lame. Most of the idiot Americans can't even speak their own language. I bet that spykez the "funny" picture poster guy thinks France is near Australia.
