I'm doing encoding at the moment and I notice the CPU temps are a little high.

Core 1 - 53C
Core 2 - 56C

Is this ok? Considering that the CPUs are doing intensive tasks or should I think about better cooling?

Edit : Now at

Core 1 - 56C
Core 2 - 57C

ya those are fine. Im idling at 43C right now in a cold room. What cooler are you using? If you using stock get a zalman cooler with arctic silver, you'll see considerable drops

standard heatsink/fans u get with cpu s are rubbish especially if you overclock.
best thing to do when u buy a new cpu headsink/fan is replace them.

Your bios may have that speed throttling shit that adjusts it's RPM based on Temp.
