yeah my hardware is a little out of date, i admit... dont have 2 grand at the moment to waste on a new poot just to play some new rpg which sucks balls anyways...
bunch of the latest titles (cnc3/jade empire/stalker) ran fine at highest/highest/good quality settings so i see no reason to upgrade... at the moment i only have bf2 on my playlist anyways, and since there's nothing else good out to game, seems it's gona stay that way for a while...

now tell me how great your 8800's are!

But definitely a step in the right direction. Can't wait to see a few more patches come.

As of now, the game is shit, but i believe with a few HUGE patches it can be great. My main gripes are the animations, it just painful to look at, the fighting just doesn't feel right, you don't feel any weight behind each attack and half the time it looks like you are piercing the air and the blood just spurs out. I don't know if it is just me, but half the time dodge and jump buttons do not work, and when it works i usually dodge forward towards the enemy. I don't give a shit about the voice acting or the graphics, they are decent but nothing to write home about. Also some annoying clipping issues and minor but strange bugs, like invisible walls that do not make sense ( i believe a video was posted before). The official release date is June 26, so hopefully they will fix everything by that time.

Seems one of the necromancers near their tower forgot his "horse".

Love the game so far, massive amount of items and landmass to explore and find, decent dialogue and animations, fighting could be better though but it works.

From checking the official forums there are all sorts of comments about this game, guess you either love it or hate it.
(Quite a large thread there about why there are no females in the game - aside from Kira, heh not that much of a problem for me.)

Found this list of console commands for those who want to experiment.

http://www.insidetwoworlds.com/showthread.php?t=26683

Should be able to adjust performance/quality much better with that.
(As well as any other game mechanic those commands control)

turn off all shader effects and your game will run faster on your ATI card ,
in my case i have all set to medium on a GF7600GS and game works great

Wow, I enjoy this game more and more Smile

I thought all the time there were no women except the sister, but now I was stunned to meet 3 (THREE) around Four Horses or what that settlement is called. Strange.

Do you guys also have immense lag in towns, especially bigger ones? Outside everything is smooth, but for example in that mining camp in the east or in that big city west of it it's really really laggy, I bet this can be fixed with a patch though.

Graphics are ok, blood is a joke, combat also (collision detection is a disaster). Horseriding is a bitch. Still, I'm playing this game. I like the fact that you can combine weapons to make stronger ones and I love the open ended gameplay. Will be playing this until there are some patches that might fix some of the most important issues. After that, it will be great.

It's not a big deal that you don't have a cutting edge gfx card... its just that you stated how miffed you were that you couldnt run it at 800 x 600 with max details... hell, I was having to cut down graphics on my 7900 GT at 1024 x 768 on games to get good frame rates so it should suprise noone that you cant run at 800 x 600... especially with the shadows... those just seem to kill frame rates on any game.

After playing it for a while, the combat isn't that great... but i still like the game. I think with some patching it could be a really great experience.

My 88000 GTX kicks total ass btw.

The game is good but just like gothic 3 it's a bugfest... What's the deal with these open world RPGs???? No wonder it has been delayed for the xbox! With bugs like this it would be disaster on the console... Still I really enjoy the game but horseride is a bitch! Horse just gets stuck outside of roads!

What about adding items to the custom bars?? Anyone knows how to do it? It's driving me crazy...

But i think i'm not gonna play this anymore... It's too frustrating with all the bugs.

Point out the bugs you all guys complain about please... the only bugs I came across (except crashing which has been fixed) were some dialogues which were not spoken, only text, but those were very very rare.

The choppy animation of falling enemies is just because we don't own a physx card, those Aegia idiots really cut the game experience even though every computer would be perfectly captable of the calculations required for those 3 or 4 bodies. So that is not a bug either.

Horse riding is messy, but someone already wrote that it's kinda realistic; horse tries to find it's path through trees on its own; can't climb steep mountains with someone on top; slow reaction times (it's not a car, it's a living being). - just walk around on foot, I do it all the time, easier to kill all the enemies that way - "bug" solved.

Oh yeah the dodging animations seem strange, maybe left out, or it's physx again.

Except that - what bugs?

You can't edit the F7 quickbar. Change to F8, then hover your mouse over an item/skill/spell and press one of the number keys. Voila, quickbar slot in use.

Put the bow in one of the two smaller slots under your main weapon, then press either R or T to cycle through your equipped weapons.

im really liking the game so far. its very much like gothic 3.
the only two things that i find negative, are the bad performance for me, even when i lower everything in the menu, and the crappy horse riding. maybe the horse riding is "realistic", but it is in no way fun to ride, and thats what it should be.
but besides that, im having a great time playing two worlds.
