guys i only use my 360 for backups and no multiplayer.
So is there anypoint me doing any updates? I mean everything works as it should so im gussing i would have no benifits of doing any kind of update....right?

well it fixes some things and i can see finally all demos etc
also have some new additions

Depends on wether you'll need to update the system software for newer games to work. At the moment If all games work there's no point really, unless you want 1080p support and don't have the update that provided that.

Safety will never be guaranteed. Microsoft can ban you whenever they want. But 5.2x and 5.3x has worked perfectly with the update since day one.
