some people seem to think the hostiles found there way onto the island from the slave ship.
also there was one guy when ben was a child that didnt get replaced by a younger actor so maybe hes not suposed to have aged

it's the same lady however when she first landed she was in so much trauma that she couldn't speak english. After they fixed her up is when she began to act normal.

she could speak english but she tried a dozen of other languages before she realized that her saviors speak english.

Real fucking Sherlock this one then because they were speaking English long before she uttered a word! Not to mention that English is practically a universal language understood the world over, which given her fantastic grasp of the language, makes her choice of dialects to begin with rather confusing. It's a bit of a mind fuck this one because she's got the accent, she's not that old, and she spoke in a foreign language through the trauma/shock/pain. |

That's my point you condescending basturd! If English isn't her first language then how does she have the strong British accent. If English is her first language why did she not originally speak it? |

shes from the same city as charley , listen to there conversation again.
people in certain citys have nick names for people from that city.
he calls her a manchestodian or some crap so i guess there both from manchester england.

first off what the fuck is your problem? did you have your period or something?
and secondly, people in her state don't have any control over what they are saying AND she's obviously very good at languages so there is nothing strange in her unknowingly repeating the same phase in every language she knows(especially if it's something as bizarre as "I'm dying").

Take my comments into context;

I was responding to the notion that she was trying different languages and the idea that she forgoes her first language in favour of learnt languages whilst in a serious condition doesn't really gel for me either.

By flashing forward they are solidifying their stance on what the rest of the seasons hold. Whatever the future holds has to be explained partially somehow throughout the rest of the episodes. I think its an original idea of a foreshadow because it helps people keep the concept of the dimension of time.

I agree, although it could also be a cheap shot to achieve just that by a show which is highly criticised of late. |
