The fact you're a part of the nforce crew does not matter here.
Pirate software, warez, or whatever you call it, always been here, and it's here to stay. No matter what protection/mass bans/other would come along the road doesn't matter, a bypass of all these would come soon after.
And one more thing -
There are some countries which games are very expensive, almost impossible to some people - so warez are a solution to them. You can still buy your games legally, which is more than fine, but like it not, there would always be someone who'll enjoy the same product you bought - for free.

It's true it doesn't matter at all, I just felt it was worse mentioning to someone who was trying to explain me what the purpose of nforce is.
you're a mod feel free to check my profile
Well what you wrote is basically the same thing I said with different words, whatever method they implement to stop piracy it will be bypassed, therefore its completely useless to invest time and money in this, this is part of a bigger problem, the price of the game being only one aspect of it.
You are wrong when telling piracy has always been here, it's true in a sense that cracking games has been here since the beginning but now it's in complete different proportion, people need to start to apply some ethics to their download.

What's ethics got to do with download....

Ethics? When the prices of a video game drops below $90 in my country, then we can talk ethics. You know who needs to take a spoon full of ethics? The fucking publishers man.

Who said I was ethical, I don’t think I did

Im not crying over this either, M$ wont brick them for the simple reason, we brought the console we buy extras, wireless headset, vision cam both pointless. but we spend money, copied games are only a small % of the market so i wouldn't be worried.

Yes but still I try to apply some ethics to my downloads, if I download a movie and I like it I buy the DVD, if I discover a new good group on internet I buy their CDs and I buy the games I Like, see what I mean...

Oh, right. Guess you'll have to wait a few weeks, months for that. For some reason c4e is slower with the Hitachi releases.

Hello all,
I´m never flashed my dvd drive myself so i have some noob question.
I have a samsung mS25 dvd drive. I may have to update the firmware.
The questions are..
I download the firmware but i have a bunch of them.. which one i should use?
xtrem53a, xtrem53b, xtrem53c ?
Or
53a-ms25, 53b-ms25, etc ?
What file i should use?
also what are the difference between A, B, C, etc.. what these letters means?

5.2/5.3 Xtreme samsung seem to be working fine with the new update, older versions should work too.
Hitachi firmwares are confirmed working with 1.6 and 2.3.
Enjoy.

Just came back from xbox-scene, seems all is OK, the update didn't harm no one.
However,
rumours regarding a 48 hours or more ban are on tact...but those are only rumours...
