I remember you acting exactly the same when TDU was due.

Just tried it and what a joke.....without ageia card, the game looks worse than the demo and they removed all the stuff from the map. (boxes and all that stuff)

Not really useful criticism but... so... many... files...
I would bet most games right now use data packs rather than having a gazillion files and building a full 20-level folder structure.

Data packs = slower loading times, especially when dealing with countless small files.

(Not that I'm expecting this game to run decently on my rig anyway, but I want to be able to have a pretty good list of reasons to bash it.)
UPDATE: Meh. 8fps-15fps is not really playable last time I checked. Uninstalled. You with all those great rigs, enjoy... Yawn.

Did you, by aaaany chance uncheck PhysX SDK during installation?
Thought so.
Now you'll have to go through the entire installation again. Ageia's site offers up to 2.6.3.

No surprise there. As I have said before, CF is selling point for Ageia. No wonder it's for free either, it's good marketing for them.
But it doesn't change the fact that their card is a pile of unecessary shit.

Wouldn't using the 8800 be able to take place of that physx card? The 8800's got the havok FX inegrated in it or does this game strictly call for ageia?
I thought the card was a good idea when it first came out but 2 years later and still has shit for game support? Fuck that, not worth 150 bucks to play a whole what...2 games? WOOOOHOOOOO

That's why it's runs so bad on 'regular' hardware...  There's probably a check

SpykeZ, it is possible to use the 8800's programmable GPU to calculate physics, but someone has to code the code. Those idiots at Ageia won't do that. |

the game sucks btw. even with the card. its just another lame pointless fps. with no goal other than to kill kill kill.
and since i know NOONE else with the damn card lol i cant play aganst anyione but bots
