UK and USA distribution is handled by Southpeak Interactive
EU but not including the UK distribution is handled by Topware
Southpeak Interactive releases on the 29th of June English only
Topware's version which is German only in the standard edition and the collectors edition is German,French,English is released on the 9th of May.
There won't be a collectors edition for the NA and UK market. (Southpeak Interactive) if you want a collectors edition you have to buy/import the one which gets distributed by Topware.
On a personal note, I'm really looking forward to the 9th

Not much in the CE aside from the three different languages, though the extra items could be a nice bonus.
https://secure.zuxxez.com/shop_new/product_info.php?products_id=61&osCsid=51f07ba25f78facebdd01d9f5a6fc28e
(T-Shirt, Map, Card game, Artbook and Sword, but the map is for both editions anyway)
Then again I'm pretty sure he meant that the game itself could turn out like a poor clone of the games it try to challenge such as Oblivion or Gothic.
(Combat seems nice and it does have multiplayer content but some of the things the beta testers revealed on the official forums seem a little odd though most of it sounded positive)
EDIT: Here's the official forums beta test report thread or whatever I should call it.
http://board.zuxxez.com/showthread.php?t=25597&page=2
EDIT2: Yeah that's also correct, game can't be activated untill the 8th anyway even if it's released in a day or so, based on this site and that's still a day early since the normal release is supposed to be the 9th: http://www.twoworlds-game.de/

Spotted the game today at the local ebgames. The guy at the store told me that the game can't be activated until tomorrow. Too bad there still is no date for the 360 version, i would have picked that one up.

It's the same authentication used in Earth2160, you have to activate the game to be able to play it.

Just checked "Earth 2160" release : it has been released by DEVIANCE at the time and several nuked versions were released before (cuz of the activation and the region checks...)
I bet we'll have the same scenario for this one but i don't think DEV is still there |
nah it's all up to hatred or vitiality. Hatred seems to get nuked into oblivion lately though

Go to the nfo page and search for "Earth 2160", it's nuke after nuke for TNT ...
And then Deviance to the rescue : http://www.nfohump.com/nfos/shownfoblack.php?nfoid=94609

For those interested, i put a french gameplay movie on megaupload which shows some gameplay footage of this game
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JCY3SK5N
Don't pay too much attention to some gfx glitches or to the clipping since this shows the state of the game in february and the devs have confirmed that it will be fixed in the retail version.

Read some on their forums. and it seems LAN isn't in . Crap.
Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

Er, deelix, shouldn't you be saying that if it was the other way around?
They say the game doesn't support LAN but supports online. I'm pretty sure Hamachi works by getting other online players to your pseudo-LAN.
Unless I'm missing something.
