Season 4 has been confirmed. And they're gonna pull a 24 and start in January and have no breaks. Also it's been pretty much confirmed that there's going to be two more seasons. So season 5 will be the last one.

The producers have been saying that they were going to make it around 5 seasons since the end of the season 1. It hasn't been anything really new but this now confirms it.

ABC has agreed to let the producers of "Lost" set an expiration date for the series -- three years in the future, reports Variety.
The series will now wrap after the production of 48 additional episodes that will be divided into three, shortened 16-episode seasons. The final episode -- the show's 119th -- will air during the 2009-10 season.

i think that was probably the best ep so far this season!
seriously dont read my spoiler if you havent seen the episode! you will regret it

i bet the rest of the eps will be really good until the season finishes on some huge cliff hanger but i bet it will be the same shit for next season , loads of crap eps that dont really explain anything and then towards the end it will hot up again.
