I think they mentioned a deal with Valve in using their Source engine for Postal 3, guess this means it will also be distributed via Steam.
(And Steam isn't that secure it seems, considering all emulators for it)

Source is quite flexible though and has evolved quite nicely from Hl2, Lost Coast and Episode 1 and it'll be fun to see how it performs in Episode 2. (Hope it's better than the small areas of Postal 2 with those frequent loading screens)

Apocalypse weekend had an awesome gameplay. Waiting for this game, too bad its on Source.

Hopefully they'll get back to the free-wandering gameplay they got away from in AW...it was way too linear IMO.

For anyone who hasn't tried it, definitely check out the Eternal Damnation mod.

Carmageddon FTW!

Postal 3 on source would be pretty cool. I liked the first one but the second wasn't very enjoyable for me.

Looking forward to the game Smile. I don't really care that much about GFX but as long as it looks well made I'm going to be a very happy pissing-on-people man.

I don't actually, just to knew kiddies who join here. Btw no one really mentioned anything about "caring" about what it looks like other than stating the obvious that previous postol games looked like shit.

Damn, I'll never forget the day a friend bought the first one for me on my birthday.
I was 13, I had no idea what was going on, but I liked it. Twisted Evil

add: Is the 2nd one + the ED mod worth a playthru?

The cat-silencer was quite strange in Postal 2 but it seems Postal3 will be even crazier with that strange creature weapon seen in the first and third screen. Laughing

Will be interesting to see how this game turns out seeing how weird Postal2 could be.

In my opinion Steam has probably the only needed security a game need, protection against pre-release leaks.

Anything else is pretty much redundant in my opinion, and i'm glad that a lot of the software released on steam isn't using all kinds of stupid protections.

I don't know if it will be released on Steam though, but i think it's more than likely that it will, i remember back in the days when Steam was still in testing, we had this community channel on gamersnet or something like that, and i remember that some of the Running With Scissors staff hang out there a lot.

So that just depends on the engine alone? Dev's can't create a work around for that? I don't remember that many load points in dark messiah
