just seems like if my monitor started exploding or the chair caught on fire it is all because the game is a poorly optimized port.
seriously we should all play the waiting game before judging.

Anyway, anyone found a way to change language? It detected my french windows and started the installation in french without asking for the language, then in the game it start straight fast in french and the voice-over guy talking to me sound like a freaking fag I don't want to hear him anymore.
Found two "language" key in registry, one is "fra" and the other is "1". I could change fra to eng but I don't want a semi-translated game with missing sound (guess not all files are copied) so anyone found a official way?

well the start up error is mainly caused surprisingly by a joystick/gamepad being plugged into the pc.
removing it fixes that error most times.

I play it on my pc with the x360 gamepad and I gotta say, they really did a great job on the controls. The swinging really couldn't have been any better. It's even great after you get so far they let your double web sling

Console ports like this are RARELY every patched

this time around i don't see any helicopters to hitchhike on and swimming is pretty damn slow >_>

no chance, they will have to change the code.
patch can't create support for sm 3.0.

As previous Spiderman game from Beenox, this game got some serious sound issues. At some points half of the sounds stop playing. I though they would at least fix this problem, I even told the Beenox president myself about this problem last time I saw him. Stupid company..
But yeah, game worth playing gameplay and gfx wise (if it weren't so buggy).

Damn. I could've hoped this thing would run just a little bit better on my PC, seeing it defaulted at 1024x768 and all on OFF/LOW. Still quite enjoyable though.
Graphics seem really last year on the settings my PC can handle them but I won't be the one to judge. From what I've seen from others around here on nForce who can play this thing on High, it looks great. Gameplay-wise, it's nothing short of exciting and really, really fun.

if you read through the thread you would see the people that are playing it enjoy it quite a bit. If you took the time to download it then obviously you were gunna try it.

Game really is alot of fun. If you liked ultimate spiderman you'll like this even more. Theres tons to do..and just slinging around the city well....that never gets old on its own.
on topic...
few questions:
1) Is there anyway to grab onto a car or anything with your web to make it easy to follow the cops?
2) How the hell do you turn off the power grid for the apocalyptic mission 3 where they crash the van into the grid and you have to turn the bomb off.
3) where the unlockables menu at? I don't see it anywhere
