Consument, it looks like you have a couple of directX versions mixed. Check your DX with the dxdiag command....look for files that don't match.

360 controller + with that mod that replaces the buttons = awesome. this game looks good now, actually has some atmosphere

what do you mean by 'mod that replaces the buttons' ?

I do. But you have to say the magic word.
EDIT: Since I'm off to bed, I'll forgo the word and just tell you. The problem you are having is when the game runs out of space while patching the game. Try reinstalling the game and when you want to patch the game try to have at least 2,5 gigs free.
Hardware: Ryzen 3700x, B450 MSI Gaming Pro carbon AC, GTX1080, 32 GB 3200 Mhz cas 14, 256 EVO SSD, 1 TB EVO SSD and 4 TB HDD.

Going little off-topic here but i was wondering did they patch the 360 controllers drivers so the analog triggers work as analog triggers in every game,thinking of getting one but only if they work.

Yes, there is a modified driver that allows you to remap all buttons. You can make the triggers respond as digital buttons (for games like this) or as analog axises (for racing games).

Which graphiccard do you have? GeForce, Radeon??
Rightclick on your desktop, then on the properities.. search there for your graphicscards control panel and then look out for anti aliasing..
Damn, it shouldn't be that hard. Google man, google...
