BETTER!!!!! belive me. Graphically SH4 is pure eye candy. And the modding comunity (including me Razz) is improving the gameplay by the day. Go check out the mods already out at http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/index.php

I have weird things since the crackfix, sometimes after a canon fight with few damage all seems repaired but my radars/radio antenna/deck canon/AA guns broke themselves and wound my -watch- crew without any reason (surface, nobody around, nothing), i keep fixing them with the damage control crew but they keep on breaking and wounding my crew, sometimes to their death, FFS! :'(
Can someone explain this? Smile

It is somewhat strange coz i didn't noticed such a thing before, maybe it is a thing broken in the patch then. It is fucking annoying coz i have no room left on the sub to remove the crew from their damaged posts, either i lose my time swaping them between others crew members or i lamentably keep loading pre-damage saved games. Embarassed Crying or Very sad

Yeah I'm sure it won't be too long before the second patch arrives.
In addition to that, the game appears to be very similar to SH3 in it's modding aspects so chances are we'll see some nice mods very soon.

Do you have rain and fog all the time in carrer mode? I think its a kind copy protection too. When i start in the base weather is clear. But soon i leave it turns fog and raining all the time without changing.

Yeah, it's the protection. Ever since I got my legit copy in the mail I've had no issues.

so this game is not playable. It needs a proper crack. Spooky eyes, 2D sailors or even reapiting orders were not much issue, but constant fog makes it not usable

I cant get 1.1 working with the clone for some reason Sad

If I dont have YASU enabled I get the normal emulation error message, if i have YASU enabled nothing happens. SH4.exe just sits in the task manager and that's that.

Any ideas?

FFS I just finished a mission in Hokkaido starting from Brisbane and finishing in Fremantle, i sunk 68000 tons, completed all objectives, got a medal, then i have a screen telling me that my class of submarine -Balao- is retired from the front and me with it, i.e. i am forced to retire because of an alleged 'less-than-notable' profile! main menu... WTF? It is the campaign mode, i am the top ace in their list with over 550.000 tons sunk and i am forced to retire? Holly crap! Crying or Very sad Rolling Eyes
I found out why, I can't believe how lame it is...

The time spent in base between patrols, it will generally be in the range of 2 or 3 weeks:

Anyone got a good way to work out the speed of your target?

At the moment I'm using a rather non-fool-proof method:

D/(5,8*T)

Where D is Distance and T is Time it takes for the target to travel five degrees. It works out most of the time but it is, as i said, not fool-proof.

Works fine here with YASU onboard. However I had to "uninstall" all previous mods because strange error (sth about menu) appeared. Very Happy

big problem with the 1.2 on my computer. Can't launch torpedo, dive don't work or very slowy

Don't know if the problem come from hatred crack or mod.

Oh and the savegame from 1.1 aren't compatible with 1.2 !! :/

EDIT : on a fresh reinstall without mod i always can't launch torpedo !

hatred crack work for you ?

mmm.... did you full unnistal and reinstall the game + patch 1.2 ?

maybe is that.

weeeeell, the hatred crack (v 1.2) isn't fully cracked.
I get the crew saying random numbers and they also turn 2D
didn't try any more when I noticed that so there could be other stuff as well

I have ramdom bugs (everytime i load the game i get a diferent one),salilors counting forever,1D sailors, Huge eyes on sailors, map all mess up, Deck gun jammed to the end of mission, etc.... I think, after reading SH oficial forum, this 1.2 patch is a bug maker, it´s not the crack.
