No, i was talking about stock TDU corvette and viper. I have seen lots of acceleration numbers,videos,tests of these cars and they do not accelerate IRL as they do in this game.
Lambos and Ferraris accelerate in TDU +- like in reality.
P.S. Talking about Ferrari vs Corvette, you forgot other things for higher price, and you won't see those "things" looking at numbers on internet. Handling, interior quality, overall design , car control feeling and many other small things that are worse in chevy.

Have it, has the worst 6th gear setting I've ever seen. It's like 1st to 5th the car keeps a good rev count and accelerates smoothly, but when you hit 6th the sound of the engine disappears. Anyway, it's a good car nonetheless, and a quick comparison saved me the money of an F430.
P.S. Talking about in-TDU.

Sorry for the thread resurrection but I need some help. Me and 2 friends have been playing TDU on and off on my PC, finishing races, unlocking stuff and so on.
We have got stuck though. We have taken the gold medal in all -->available<-- races. The only unsuccessful is a Top Model mission, where the stupid bitch wants a Shelby GT500. The problem is that the car is "out of stock". Does anyone know how to unlock it ?
I've searched around and couldn't find anything, even cheats and trainers don't help.
EDIT: I also can't find it in a car rental

I already got it reserved. You mean some time has to pass in the game (can I leave it on for an hour or something, don't have any new races to do!) Or do I have to do stuff ?

They said they were developing some kind of a patch that would have fixed some bugs and performance issues.

I wish there was a way to edit the LOD distance for certain objects... That's the only bad thing of TDU.

Wheel ... better performance... Hmmm...
Nope, think I'd go for the graphics card.
Yes, I know this wheel should provide a great experience, but I'm not a racing-only gamer, and this thing would be hell to store away every time I wanted to play some other game.
Not that if I had 300 euros to spare AFTER upgrading I wouldn't get one of those babies.

My Wingman Formula Force is wonderful. Rubber and hard heavy plastic, not like those crappy MS Sidewinder-shit that feels like it's going to break just by looking at it. And it still works perfect for all games. EXCEPT TDU. So until they release a patch for the game that makes the wheel work, I say fuck 'em.
I'm not going to buy shit from them 'till they fix it.

Watch some episodes of Top Gear and you might just get yourself a piece that's actually quite driveable for that money.
