Some other games that I have installed but there not as old are Mafia, Settlers 4, Yager, Max payne and Aliens V predator 2

There are some games that never leave my HD, like:

Jagged Alliance 2 (+ mods)
Steel Panthers (the WinSPMBT and WinWW2 versions)
XCom Collectors Edition, where I only play the first one because I hate those long ass ship missions in TFDT. Very Happy

A few days ago I reinstalled Call of Duty, not old, but I had the urge to frag some nazis. Laughing

Heroes of Might & Magic 3
Heroes of Might & Magic 4
Knights of the Old Republic

Try searching through HOTU.

It's got alot of the oldies. Also, on the topic, anyone found a way to run the original Blood on WinXP?

Atleast once per year I will install an old Bullfrog game (syndacite wars, Populous, Dungeon Keeper etc etc).

Also I keep re-playing 'Company Of Heroes', yeah I know it is not an old game but I keep playing the single player levels over and over and over and over and etc etc.

Now on to the serious stuff.......

I have a crazy fetish for 'Kingpin: Life Of Crime' as it was my 1st multiplayer game, ran my own clan and I also skinned, mapped and made models for it. FFS I wish they would make a sequel.... even my OCD dictates I buy a copy everytime I see one 2nd hand.

But then we move on to the best game ever created 'ELITE', If it was not so much hasstle to slow down my computer and boot in DOS each time to play it I would never be off it.

I have got to ELITE from the age of 10yr old upon BBC, Spectrum, Atari & Amiga (Played on PC but not to ELITE status). Never played it on snes, amstrad, arhamedies, but would like to do so.

Apart from ELITE than 'Bubble Bobble' also has to be a classic I could never leave alone and kept re-playing alot.

others to mention (showing my age) but not played for years but adore as addictive games are:

Manic Minor
Jet Set Willy
Skool Dayz (PC version now on freeware too)
Attic Attack
Vallhalla
Ant Attack
Sam Cruise
Speedball
Pro Golf
NBA basketball
poya poya/ mean bean steaming machine
Mario Kart
Mario World
Mario Smash bros
Pikmin
harvest moon

Oh and also Farcry is always worth a re-run once per year!

OK I'll stop now before my mind explodes with the memories of listening to 2pac (well before he died) and wasting my life mashing it up.

P.S. The above games are from several systems I owned starting roughly in this order............ Intelevision, BBC Micro, Spectrum 56 & then 128k, Commodore 64, Atari,. Amiga, snes, Megadrive, N64 and finally a PC (also a gamecube).

There I go typing too much again. Oh the memories.

Deus Ex pisses all over Metal Gear in terms of story. You have lots of freedom in how you deal with situations and can actually influence the outcome too, which is something metal gear doesn't have.
