i was just wondering , is there program that would burn a install process to cd or dvdr , so that you install goes to the cdrom instead of hdd , this way you could pop the game in any time and load from the disc without having to reinstall it , but a problem would be to install patchs to a burnt disc of the files......then pc games would be like console games just put them in the cdrom and play

wrong forum + not a good idea, it would be slow as fuck reading from the cd drive.
just buy a 500gb spare hard drive and install all your games on that.

what an idiotic idea, i wish 360 had an option to do otherwise, this way loadings would be faster and no more stupid dirty disk errors
tdu on pc loads 10 times faster than on 360
just burn your installed games to dvd as data disk if u don't wanna go though all install procedures

the pc simply isnt designed to play games off cd/dvd, and furthermore the GAMES arent, you have to understand that games on the xbox use a partition for caching, but im sure its one of the devs biggest problems and sets limitations to what can be done
cause if they loose the "pop a disk and play" so that they have to install a game to hdd on their console its really just a sucky version of a pc

u don't have to install games to play on console just copy like on xbox1
if they allowed 360 to play games from external hd it would've been cool, ppl playing copied games anyway
give an option to play either from disk or hd and u u'll see how many ppl will use hd
u can play demos from hd and u can see how fast they loading comparing to final versions on disks.

It would also be impossible to save your game, as you coudn't write on the disc any more...
