It happens quite frequently with me...
I've gotten back into Diablo II hardcore.. already sufferd some level 50+ casualties (poor Paladin..)
And now me and some buddies are jumping back into the hilarity that is Grand Theft Auto 2 multiplayer...
Do you guys stick with the latest and greatest or more often than not shifting back into the oldies?

Very often....seeing the quality of games we have today, especially in the role-playing genre, I find myself playing Baldur's Gate a lot!

Yeeaahhhh Full Throttle!!!
Once in awhile I try the old, old Sierra games but I suck at them now...
Like original King's Quest (not remake), Police Quest, etc.
I don't know how the hell I beat them when I was younger!

Yeah I find myself installing classics quite often.
I have some old games that never leave my hdd:
Fallout 1
Fallout 2
Fallout Tactics
Transport Tycoon Deluxe
Monkey Island 1
Monkey Island 2
Heroes of Might & Magic 3
Heroes of Might & Magic 4
Knights of the Old Republic
Knights of the Old Republic 2
Baldurs Gate
Baldurs Gate 2
I dont always keep them on my gaming-computer but if I get the urge they are never more than a few transfers away
Sometimes i fire up Monkey Island just to listen to the music and get all nostalgic.

Just started playing all the Half Life Single players:
Half Life
Blue Shift
Opposing Force
Still great, but I find myself always coming back for a round of HL2. IMO the most immersive game ever made.

it works fab if you use http://dosbox.sourceforge.net
just set timer to dynamic and cycle at around 22000, install it as if you would on dos and it plays with music and all.

I tried dosbox at one point and just couldnt get it to work right, I'll retry it with those settings. Some guy on ebay put the game on ebay for free, just wanted positive feedback for payment lol. Found out he shipped it from greece.

I played Gore a lot! One of the few games i actually bought. The multi was playable with 56k.

For the most part i don't play the old PC games - Other then Dues Ex and Duke 3d. I play quake 2 every few years. As far as nostalgia gaming goes i find myself playing emulated consoles more then anything else. A lot of SNES, SMS, Genesis, and NES.
PC: i7-4790k @ 4.4, 32GB @ 2400, Nvidia 1080TI FE, 2 TB Crucial MX500 SSD
Nintendo Switch SX OS Pro / PS4 Pro 5.05 Hen/Mira / PS3 Modded / Wii Modded / 360 Pre-Wave4 mod
