The new 1.6 update introduces Folding@home to the PS3, so you can donate your idle PS3 time to folding proteins

Already reports are that the ps3 is outrunning the fastest pcs; and thats finally something positive for the PS3. So now if your friends ridicule you for owning a PS3, tell them it cures cancer!!!! Laughing

I don´t care how fast it is compared to pc´s with this app. I care about what most of us should - how good the games are.

Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc

can't be a bad thing. think of it more an excuse to buy one in the first place, as opposed to why you'd buy one over a X360 Wink

tell the gf/wife that you want to help cure "Alzheimer's, Mad Cow (BSE), CJD, ALS, Huntington's, Parkinson's disease, and many Cancers and cancer-related syndromes" and this is a more effective way to spend $600 then just a donation Wink Razz

Also think about your electricity bill Wink I have read that the PS3 is sucking power at it's peak while this folding@home is running.
