Not that unlikely that some non-scene people would clone it and post it on the newsgroups or similar |
Thats not scene, this is a scene release discussion site you know

Hey the Scrin might not even have any idea of right and wrong at all, so noone is evil
Man, did you guys notice that blue tiberium in some of the screenshots?
I hope thats actually in the game, not just a visual effect of the scrin growth booster thingy.
And i hope that tiberium veins are in as well, i doubt it tough since i havent heard anything about it,
but i didnt hear anything about the blue tiberium being in either and that seems to be the case so hey, maby
The thing i really liked about Tiberian Sun: Firestorm was the blue tiberium, extra volatile but extra valuable, and the tiberium veins, because they were so damn cool.
They just kept on growing and growing! And they were dangerous to vehicles,
so on some maps there were really interesting natural minefields for vehicles, and tiberium here and there which are minefields for infantry.
Which caused some pertty interesting tactics. I miss them
More rts'es need to have dynamic changing/mutating/growing enviroments

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 RAM: 4gb Kingmax DDR2 800mhz Video: Asus GeForce 250GTS 1gb Sound: Asus Xonar.

They added Blue Tiberium to the game by popular demand, i have no idea if they're extra toxic á la TS/TS:FS.
And yeah the scrin might just try to survive, but to me it seems like they're just trying to conquer planets, so it seems they are the real "evil" people/aliens in this game

which is why they haven't visited earth yet cause we would label them dangerous and try to autopsy em n what not Just imagine, going to another planet and they tackle you and start cutting you open haha.

@ Baleur: There is indeed Blue Tib in the game with same Toxin like the green, but the blue gives more money than the green.
Veins and veinholes are not anymore in it, because tiberium needs nomore any biological liveforms (evolution).
Tiberium is now only a crystal thats makes his way through the earth, thats why Nod cant use any underground units.
Sorry for my poor english !

well their underground units would still seem to me like they'd still be able to drill through the ground like in TS, just would use stronger gear?

Well they would probably risk getting consumed by tiberium by drilling through it.

Spawning units with an animation does not count for moving below level.

You could track them across the landscape, and if you'll also claim that it's not underground then the end result was still the same, and if it was possible 6-7 years ago it's possible now.

More like blow themselves up when hitting the tiberium with their drills =)
