The keys are hardware dependant. Don't count on a keygen, it has never happened with other games protected by Starforce Frontline.

This possibility has been discussed for other games, like trackmania games for example. It IS possible, but Starforce Frontline is a bitch to be cracked/reversed. Groups wait for the retail versions, which are "easier". Not to mention that this game isn't very popular.

What I mean to say, is that I don't see a crack happening for a long while (at least until the english retail release of the game)

Well, tried playing it for a bit, and i got bombarded by various requests and proposals by various groups that i had to either accept, refuse, or ignore. And since it's all in French i just clicked accept on a few of them without knowing what i was accepting, and then when i kept getting bombarded by foreign officials wanting to have meetings with me i just started ignoring them all. And then my popularity went to shit. But it seems very interesting and detailed so far. There are seriously ZILLIONS of different people that you can interact with. Foreign officials, special interest groups, business leaders, union leaders, goverment employees, your own officials and ministers, religious leaders, your own family, you name it. And you can create your own people too. The game comes with over 50,000 people by default in all the various groups, and i didn't feel like changing them all so i just created a new political party and played as Serbia. I had Tony Montana as president, Manny as secretary of state, and Sosa as defence secretary Smile

But then i got bombarded with various crap that i had to answer and i didn't understand what it was about so i just clicked accept on all of it and my popularity, as i said, turned to shit, and then i stopped playing. I doubt i'll be able to play the current version effectively without understanding what's happening. The game is so deep and complex that you just have to understand what's going on to even begin to be able to play the game. There are probably hundreds, if not thousands of things you can do, so if you don't understand what it means you simply end up doing really unpopular shit like i did and you get a revolution on your hands. I'll have to wait for the english version, or try to learn enough French to play the current version.

No, there are no easily edited files to make the game English. But the text obviously has to be somewhere so i'm guessing it's packed in an archive/container file. But there's no way to get to any of it. I'm going to have to mail the devs and ask them if there's any way to translate the game.

Man, this game is deeper than fucking Atlantis. There are SOOOOOOO many fucking things you can do and change. And some of them are REALLY appealing to the little imperialist in me. For example, every country can either be a member or non member of the international nuclear non proliferation treaty. If you are a member, you aren't allowed to develop nuclear weapons. So you have 2 choices. You can either withdraw from the treaty, and start the program, or remain in the treaty and start a secret program and hope nobody notices. I don't know if you can do anything to increase the chances of the program remaining hidden, like spending more money on secret underground facilities, or spending more on counter intelligence, but i'm sure you can. And then you have gazillions of other policies that you can change to your hearts content, in all the various categories. I'm not sure what 99% of them do but i'm going to go check some of them now, armed with a browser window connected to babelfish. But from what i've seen so far the ammoun t of detail is mind boggling. They really did think of absolutely EVERYTHING that could possibly be put in a grand scale political strategy game. Do any of you have any requests that i should check?

That's BS and unrealistic. The U.S , Russia and China are all members of the international nuclear non proliferation treaty and they still openly develop nuclear weapons and ICBMs .

The game must be more fair than real life i guess Very Happy

Ok, here's a screen i just made. It's taking a while to make these since you have to quit the game after using the print screen key and then paste it into photoshop.

This is the goverment of Cuba. The current screen shows the president's "inner circle", his/her spouse, parents, chief of security, cabinet minister, persoonal astrologer, personal doctor, and vice president. Hmmm, that vice president looks familiar... Very Happy

I mailed the devs a few days ago and asked them if there was any possibility of manually translating the game. I still haven't heard back from them.
