i tried the two options that been writen here about the lang change, changed that rar file and after repack- the file still stay as a rar and also cahnged the ini DE to EN and...still game run as german...no text in english and also voices...
anyone succeed?

tried it. utter crap. worse than Alpha Prime, probably. I can't imagine a situation where I would agree to play that. even on a deserted polar base with no other games and no pr0n.

Its not utter crap. Its run and gun. The gfx is pretty good for its size. Its also short, but that dosn't do much. Play it some more ^^

I'd like it more if it was a 3D screensaver with the camera moving through tunnels. Yes, it's got all the sweet FX that are available for FREE to fucking PASTE in your engine code. But the AI is ridiculous and it's NO FUN to play.
I like this, gun & run reminds me of the good old days!! I put together a 3 minute clip of me playing terribly! It will give most an idea of what the game is like.

It's just.... bad. Everything is bad about RO - the AI, the anims, the models, the controls (that cheap-shooter bad mouse jerkiness), the levels. The DX9 fx, as I've already mentioned before are not a "+" anymore - you can add them to any engine just by copy/pasting from forums or developer kits.
And covering every inch of a level with cheap bumps and normal mapping is a sign of bad taste now in 2007.
I've been around here daily for years and years. I'm no noob. I almost never have problems with this stuff here and the irony of bitching about something I didn't pay for, isn't lost on me, hence the low post count.
But Damn! this first game in a lot years I haven't been able to start. Seems to be working for everyone else which is really wierd. Crashes back to the desktop just as it tries to start up. Used the Mount/ YASU method, then the crack. Neither works. Which leads me to believe it's the game itself. Even DL'ed it from another source just in case it was corrupted. Tried the compatability modes and a half a dozen other things. Just ain't happening.
Other than my FX-55 starting to get a bit long in the tooth, I don't think it's my system.
Anybody hear anything?

Its not working for me, i dont have any speech in the game or anyhting,, only the game menues are in english, i downloaded that sound file overwrote it but still nothing.
I even changed the .ini file from DE to EN but its not working..

He he he, i've the same. It only works in vista with me Changing comp. to 2000 nothing helps. Jigsaw thanx for the english voices btw so i don't need to download the demo. But the game sucks anyway so don't bother
I just installed the eng demo and copied the VoicesEN.xpf file into a folder. Uninstalled the demo and re-installed the full game. Replaced the VoicesDE.xpf with the VoicesEN.xpf file and changed the Language=DE to Language=EN and added the TEXT folder into the game folder and BINGO! it is now english voices and text.....not that bad of a game and it was fun making it english.....now I will wait for the flaming!!!! LOL!!!

Found the developers forum, looked for the biggest thread and translated it from German . Seems I'm not alone. It's being looked into. I'll have to wait for a patch or the US version to give it a whirl.

Yeah i did that too and it works, but i doubt it will work for the full game since i guess its probably voice for the 2 levels in the demo, its not meant for the full game since the size is way smaller then the voices in the full game pack file so i wont use that.
swebarb, I believe you are right, I will have to get to the levels in question. The demo was just level 3 though....and it is english voices so far in level 1 and 2......time will tell...let me know when it stops being english or there are no more voices...that's if you beat me to it.
