I can't launch it, because of the securom protection.
I use yasu 1.07 and DT 4.08/sptd 1.42

someone can help ?

EDIT : help myself Smile The tools directory that came with the release wasn't on my source. it's the new yasu 1.1.7033 and it's work perfectly with that.

I was wondering the same thing myself. The version of Securom that it's using has YASU blacklisted.

You control the charecter Jack Hyborn, a leader of a thief gang, here you must direct and lay strategies for whom to rob and when during the sixtine period of old London, your goal is to gather as much loot as possible and pull off daring "heists" without gaining too much attention from the law.

Ok, can confirm it fully now Smile

The graphics is truely awesome :O

Very photorealistic. No FSAA option in-game though, gonna have to fiddle around with the drivers to see if i can force it.

Havent done much in-game yet, just started a career and tried some stuff out in the port. Most things seems identical to SH3 which of course is good Smile

The first mission I got was to go a take some photo recon on an enemy port, no more Go-to-AM52-and-patrol-for-24-hours-and-that's-it-missions apparently, nice.

Well, gonna go make some food and then it's a long night that approaches Very Happy

So the gfx are the same as SH3 i guess ???

Im actually looking at the box of SH3 above me right now lol

Not quite. It's very up to date. As nice as SH3 looked when it was released, that is how nice SH4 looks now.

I think Ur on to something there mate. Main character should have a faced modeled on Michael Caine...I can see it in front of me...bloody brilliant, cockney dialect of course...strong.

The tool for calculating speed doesn't seem to work - no matter how long I let it run for it still shows up as 0 KTS even when range is correctly input and I let it run for 15-20 seconds. Starting to piss me off Sad What gives?

Also, haven't been able to find the button described in the manual that clears the TDC. I've looked and looked, nothing there.

They didn't seem to bother with proofreading anything either...lots o grammatical errors. Not that it matters in a subsim, but it reflects the overall production value when you have spelling errors left and right. Doesn't look good.

SH3 had awesome controls, it's a simulation after all so it's supposed to be a little more complicated.

I'm pretty sure this game is very much like SH3 in the controls department.

heh, if you can't handle it or it really doesn't work for whatever reason, lower the realism and let the game do it for you, at least for now.

I refuse. Would turn it to a point/click/hit scenario. Would be no fun at all whatsoever Sad

Its pissing me off though, either I am extremely stupid or its busted. How such an important feature like this could not work is beyond me. I've reread the manual multiple times, tried it a few times using both the manuals word for word description as well as a few ideas of my own and still nothing Sad 0 speed on the dial.

Also, the position keeper doesn't automatically turn itself on like it should after you've input the data. That, combined with the fact there is no way to automatically select SALVOs like in SH3 makes it a royal pain in the ass. Basically you have to PRESET each tube to the same config if you want to fire a salvo, and doing this 2 or 3 times is just ugh.

Haven't been able to force AA through Nvidia panel either. Grr the frustration.

Also, the little box in which all your important messages pop up - while it lets you move it - no matter where you put it its in the way of something. There's no good spot for it. This new interface isn't at all economical. I want the old one back.

Exclamation

I give it a through thrashing as soon i got it installed. I guess there is some stuff that needs to be ironed out. A game like this is pretty complex, and as someone said before the Dev's where pressed to release it. Whatever, 30 min to go or so.

When I bought SH3, it had a quick reference sheet included, with all the controls etc. Can anyone be so kind telling me whether such a thing is included as PDF in this release?

If not, can anyone point me into the direction where to find this?

Thanks in advance!

Even with automated targeting this game can still be fun.
Just like in Silent Hunter 3, it's great and a real challenge to find the best time and point to attack.

It probably starts out kinda easy like SH3 but once all convoys have destroyer escorts and all that you'll have enough on your hands and having to do targeting yourself when you only have a few seconds before you have depth charges and cannon fire all over you will most likely be too much.
