It only seem to work when there is only 1 rar file, i need it to work for when it is split in to smaller volumes.

Nope, it works with several files too. Just start unpacking the file - when it asks for the next on you just leave it and start vlc - then find where the file was unpacked and run it.

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

it actually works when its split into smaller volumes, goto File--> Open Directory, and point to the dir with all the files.

yea ok, that works. Thats something i guess.

I kinda wanted a program that started unpacking when i open one of the rar-files (whithout me seeing the unpacking process) and at the same time starts the movie. When i close the mediaplayer the unpacked file which should be in some temporary folder somewhere should be deleted without me knowing.

Thanks for the help though.

Edit: I hope you see the differance, with your way i have to have VLC running and choose open directory from the meny but i want to be able to do it without having a media player running. Also the unpacking must be in low priority since my computer is slow because without low priority i have to wait until its fully unpacked. Sorry for beeing so picky Smile

Give this a try: http://rarplayer.sourceforge.net/

That works quite good. Seeking doesnt work in either VLC or mplayer but i can live without that i think.

Thanks.
