I use it at default, Godlikez. But I don't think there are any problems running in 333mhz, other than shorter battery time.

I always left it at stock, until I just happened to do a comparison on GTA Vice City. The difference is really noticeable, and seen as I don't travel with it much, battery power isn't an issue. Might be my eyes so it's worth doing the test but it seemed to be really jerky at default speed.

I know very little of the PSP scene and totally lost track of everything since Devhook really. I did however update my firmware to 3.10 something or other. How come 3.03 is being discussed if 3.10 is the latest release?
May the NFOrce be with you always.

Because there was so many releases of firmwares that people didn´t even bothered to update to 3.10, besides 3.10 doesn´t bring major updates as 3.03 did. But it´s always a good thing to have the latest one

Yeah- Im at 3.03C. Wont bother with 3.10 as it isnt worth it. 3.03c I did because it cut off 5 seconds on power on. Also can now change the memory stick speed to 333mhz as well as cpu speed to 333mhz. 3.03b was very useful because I now watch videos at 480 resolution.
Playing Vice city at 333mhz is big difference. Right now at 3.03c - PSP is mint.

Memory stick speed?! Are you talking about the XMB speed?
The best thing in 3.10 oe is:
Code: |
* 4th level of brightness |

I thought you could only change the CPU and Mem speed in 3.10 OE, It's the only way I got Ratchet and Clank to play

You can only change the CPU speed, but you can change it to run isos or to have the full speed while in the XMB.
