What's up with those TC's from TUN (TDAT and TROY). Are they any good ? Can't check the samples cuz i'm not @ home. Are they the same quality as the Van Helsing Replica/Chakra release ?!

I sure hope so .. but after seeing other releases from TUN, I sure doubt it Rolling Eyes

Naw.. They're not that good, both are nuked for pixelation and such.
Some people doesn't even think they're telecines.

just downloaded the sample. it looks pretty good, better than any telesync version of Troy. you dont become blind like videoCD's version. it's pixelated because those dummies are watching it on their computer. if you watch it on the TV, you can barely notice the pixelation. it's not good as van helsing's telecine, but it's still good. way better than any telesync.

Out of all the releases off TDAT i think Tuns latest proper is the best choice yes it looks like shit on the computer but on the TV its more than watchable.

I suggest burning it to CD-RW so not to waste cd's and then wait for the dvdrip.

I totally agree... sometimes they are in such a hurry to release a movie.. no one properly checks it

Hi,

Do you think TUN will be kind enough to give the source of their telecines to another group, to see if they can do any better.

They may have to swallow there pride, but if they can see what can be achieved, they may be able to learn from it.

there not perfect, but not that bad, kinda like vhs tape, they look better than a vcd screener. but not by much. 1000x better than a telesync.
