2nd ep of The Winner just came out Seth Mcfarlane (Family Guy, American Dad) does his first un-animated sitcom, featuring Rob Cordrry (or Corddry Coddry whatever combination of D and R's you wanna throw in there)

if he's as funny in this as he was in Blackballed: Bobby Dukes or The Daily Show it should be a instant classic.

Bottom is a classic! Ive watched those so many times. I used to know all of the shows word for word! A line I have just recalled! ...

"well perhaps if you had the common decency to go out and get a proper job instead of hanging around the flat all day like some vast slug, then perhaps I will have the opportunity to take my shirt off and wash it without the risk of you seeing my nipples!"

On the ferris wheel in the 'Carnival' episode Very Happy

I just watched the first episode. My! God! Terrible! I endured all of 3 minutes before i had to stop and i might add i think Family Guy and American Dad are fantastic, but this... Absolutely unwatchable *shudders*

Alot of people said the same thing about Lucky Louie, myself 3 minutes into the episode i thought, why the hell am i watching this. but the winner, seriously, is pretty funny, you need to give it a chance.

i think its the lame live studio audience that turns most people off.

Takeshi's Castle. I was watching it last night. Well this morning at 3am. On Freeview if you are in the UK. I was in fucking hysterics. Craig Charles' commentary really makes the show! Very funny and highly recommended.

EnrageD: Mostly it was the laugh-o-matic yes and i'm pretty confident that's not actually a "live studio audience" Smile But hey, if you enjoy it, then good for you (honest)! But this kind of sitcom is not for me, give me Basil Fawlty over this any day of the week Smile
