For me, their plan works exactly the opposite. I have no interest at all in online play, so if it's required there's no way I'd consider buying it. If it was simply a really good racing game that fixed all the things I hate about NFS, and online play was just an optional extra, I'd buy it for sure.

Each to his own, Palegod. I guess that not everyone enjoys online play after all, and there should be alternatives to getting the bonuses for people without high-speed internet connections or like you, not interested in competing against other players.

Arghh god damn traffic and cops, I fucked up Millionaire's Challenge 200km time trial because of them for the second time now.

pro-tedu.mdf (Test.Drive.Unlimited.CLONEDVD-PROCYON release) and milkman-tdu.mdf (Test.Drive.Unlimited.CLONEDVD-Milkman release) have the same MD5 hash... Is that possible?

I remember having the same kind of problem while using the non-cracked version of Rayman Raving Rabids. |
So did I. Anyone else with that particular problem : black screen and retun to desktop after CD check?
I guess we would have to wait for a valid crack then...

Why is everyone so quick to blame cracks for things that are 99% bugs in the game? It works fine for a LOT of other people, doesn't it ?

I'll read some reviews and then decide if buy the game. The idea of a massively multiplayer racing game is really interesting.
I have tried for a few minutes the cracked the version and the graphic seem to be not so good making a comparison with need for speed.

Go buy the game. That is, if you want the online part of the game. If you don't care about it, MILKMAN's your friend.

on my dual-boot rig the procyon release works fine on windows xp pro, but does crash to desktop after cd-check (quick black screen, just before the Atari intro) on windows 2k pro. different installation directories (installed it on both OSs) with the same ForceWare Drivers (93.71whql) Daemon Tools 4.08HE and Yasu 1.0.7. that's why I don't think it has something to do with the copy protection, as the cd-check is passed successfully on both OSs. maybe a driver or even a video codec issue.
edit: video codec doesn't seem to be the issue, as replacing the video .bik files in the tdu directory with blank files made the game skip the intros but gave me an immediate Crash to Desktop as well

well i have 360 controller, but i cant find the menu to set it up ingame.

The graphics of this game are really cool, but is it just me or the handling just sucks? The car has the same way of irrealistically swing and ass dance at low speeds like the NFSC.
Is it just me??

Is this normell? im getting around 33-40fps.im playing in res 1680x1050, hdr on, fsaa 4x and everthing on high.
systeem:
core 2 duo 6600
asus p5w dh deluxe
geforce 8800 GTS
2gig ddr2

but the keybindings: i want to drive with the left stick.
How can i bind that?
