The Norwegain company Secustream Technologies say they have the solution to end
piracy of movies.

Their solution is to protect every second of the movie and every minute, it checks what the users are doing with the player. If you are doing something "illegal" it will report to the customer of the copyprotection and the movie will stop playing.
The protection are uncrackable says CEO Gisle Østereng of Secustream Technologies

This where taken from a newsarticle in a local paper in Norway.

Dynamite, eraser/destroyer, etc... can already make it uncrackable, so why bother? You can't beat these since they will keep material. Very Happy

It won't work because you can't force customers to have a open internet connection every time they wanna play a movie.

It can however stop piracy of porn movies because the people that wanna see that specific movie probaly have internet connection. Still you lose a potential customer base that wants to watch the movie on their standalone player.

Two years ago some dutch movie premiered on internet with new drm protection which wasn't cracked back then. Still the dutch scene 'released' the movie after four days. It was filmed by some expensive videocamera. It actually looked pretty nice, not dvd quality but really watchable.

They have used 3 million USD to create this "amazing" software. Exclamation
They are 4 dudes and have been working on this for a year.
Where did the money go ? Confused Confused

Money where given to them by the goverment and some local funds.

With that kind of money I could have employed 4 guys in 9 year with GOOD salary here in Norway Very Happy

Cheers Wink
