Highlights of the 1.05 patch are...

* Harrier (AV8B) can now perform Short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL).
* Grass is now simulated for AI and multiplayer (including larger view distances)
* Improved 3D iron sights
* Improved satchel simulation (including detection of player and AI usage)
* Various improvements and bug fixes across all campaign missions
* Overall polish and streamline of menus
* New modern GPS device enabled for some vehicles and situations
* Satellite texture can be displayed in the main map
* Improved stability of helicopters (jaw now does not affect bank)
* Extended support for keyboard shortcuts (you can toggle by holding any key and press second key together)
* General AI tweak and improvements
* More realistic AI target detection
* Improved MP browser
* Improved voice over net (you can hear enemy talking, direct channel is enabled)
* All versions possible to upgrade to 1.05 level
* English subtitles enabled for Czech and German versions

great! it seems that 1.05 has a new securom and wont run
A required security module cannot be activated.
This program cannot be executed (5023).

There are 2 version of a patch:
1)v1.05 Euro-This update is for ArmA Euro version 1.04 by 505 Games only
2)v1.05 International-This is International Update for all versions released so far 1.0, 1.01, 1.02 and 1.04 - ArmA English Online Download from sprocketidea.com

So if u have older release:Czech,German,Polish,Russian...version 1.0-1.02 u should download v1.05 International.

If u have English release v1.04 (Procyon,Hatred releases) u should download v1.05 Euro.

i download the last patch of arma the 1.05 and patch over mi 1.04 version and dont work now,
whit the 1.04 i use yasu and demon tools an work great but now the computer giveme this message




what i can do now Sad ?

the arma.exe is Securom 7.21

thats a bug in Protection_ID when it can not detect the new version of Securom it says 7.21
and version 1.0.4 of ArmA had 7.30.0014

it seems with the proclone copy , you cant patch it as its checking the cdkey before you patch Surprised ,

when you go to patch the game if you have the hatred or proclone , it says bad cdkey and dosent let you patch it

For patch 1.05 after trying a while i managed: use keygen of razor to update, disable/unplug all your physical cd/dvd drives , mount in daemon tools, i have sptd version 1,39, change drive letters of the virtual mounted devices in your registry and play Smile

Hello,
i have this problem with ArmA 1.05 and your (shittingaround) advice with changing drive letter(s) doesn't work. Can you please explain what you did?
BTW I'm using WinXP x64.

Hm, Sprocket games has a direct download 1.05 version for £22.50, while Play.com charges £17.99 delivered and all. Only problem with Play.com is that they only sell that game in UK.

Sprocket's got some "Coupon code" field though when you try to order it, but I dunno where you would get that coupon, and what difference in price it makes.

it seems that its detecting yasu itself. unmounted image,disabled drives,disabled DT, run yasu and it still gives the same error even without a dvd. Y.A.S.U. 1.10 is in the works and its should be out shortly Smile

Don't use yasu as it is blacklisted, you don't need to disable dt, mount the game into it, unplug or disable your physical drives, change the drive characters as shown in the pic from your virtual drives in the registry. ( from the pshysical ones it's not needed as you disabled or unplugged them. ) Just enter something behind the drive characters of dosdevices.
