I was more upset about the lack of NOD, but I guess that's because NOD is the far better force.. keep the best for the full release!

Someone to unlock it? If the units are there, maybe it's doable... The SAGE engine is quite easy to crack, judging from previous experience (sandbox and AI for Generals Beta, BFME I/II demo and beta hacks).

Try to extract DemoData.big with xurc and look for a Nod enable parameter in a file called "rules.ini" or "def.ini" make your changes and place the edited file in the "Data" dir.

Epsilon, you where THE man with supreme commander, can you do it for this game also?
I played with NOD allready, but that was with overtaken there main building and than fast build some NOD buildings.
I build a nuke also with NOD, and that was the first time the framerate dropped a little bit when I triggerd it.
But it was amazing!!!!

The only .BIG reader/extractor i know works is FinalBIG, but either the format changed or some of it is encrypted cause almost every file is gibberish.
Edit: A newer version of XURC works, but it's the same gibberish as in FinalBIG, so they somehow either compressed it or encrypted it.

The GDI and NOD are supposed to be balanced, if any force is uber it'll be the aliens.

Is there a way to disable the superweapons. They are just too destructive in skirmish because 1 nuke effectively wipes out your entire base.

I wasn't talking about balancing, NOD are just more fun.

Jesus, my first post here... but for CnC3 occasion I will suffer through this, here's my tool, have fun (it unpacks files extracted with FinalBIG):
http://rapidshare.com/files/18650086/big4decomp.rar.html
Btw, patching a byte in DemoGame.dat file at offset 0x3C74CC to EB enables Save Game in Skirmish, although game has no Menus\PopupSaveLoad.wnd file so nothing happens OnClick, however Save/Load code is there - some .BIG unpacking/editing should make it possible (homemade save dialog or whatever).

From a guy on isonews I got this:
To play as NOD in the skirmish. In the dropdown menu click once on the NOD and while it's still open press the "N" key. Same way you can change comp to GDI only press letter "G". Also you can change the AI's personality to rusher.
I tryed it and works good...played a game as NOD but damn that AI is really tough, at least it is for me......never was good at rushing anything(wife tells me the same all the time;-))
But taking me back to my early days on the pc though this game. I love it so far although I loose most of the time hehe

I have a question. Are all the units and the upgrades included in the demo for gdi. Or will we see more in the retail version ?
