1stly Fisk forgot to pass. then he fucked his dog woke up smelling of dogass. this newfound smell made him think as though he had a massive hangover. tried to remember what he did then decided to "trick" us by claiming it was sarcasm. also 256ppl on an FPS is groundbreakin u fucktards. all u bummers were tossin off to bf2 potentially havin 100+ppl per server.

The thing is that this is what ALL game companies claim about their FPS-games, EVERY BLOODY DEVELOPER talks about "next gen" and "it's going to blow you all away" ... they implement features that we don't need, and kids (YES KIDS) start talking about crap like if it's a feature, something that's useful etc. (Usually they're overactive).
THE POINT should've been crystal if you had read the darn thing instead of just looking at the topic. 90% of you checked the topic, and the first ten words, and then decided to write something.

This is a strong criticism towards the gaming industry. And it's sad that so many are so blind they don't see that they're fed the same crappy games over and over again, without any new ides, creativity, etc.
I suppose I should've warned that it requires either a moderate amount of attention ability, or an IQ over 30 - to get it. |
But then again, you can't really complain seeing that, most likely, you don't pay to play.

Possibly not the best section for voicing your opinion (sarcasm might have gone over better in general discussion and less believe might have believed you were actually talking about a real game).

It's always funny to see loads of people who didn't understand go: "Uh, yeah - YOU'RE stupid" because they felt stupid. 
Though, that was not the point - I'm dissing game-companies.
Sc|rocco: Last game I purchased was Söldner. The comment about patches is meant to illustrate the lack of Q&A done nowadays. I mean, some bugs are understandable, but lots of games have such bugs that COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MISSED if you played the game 5-10 minutes. This is becoming a reoccuring and seriously bothersome flaw. Developers throwing out games that aren't done - with the excuse: "We'll release a patch". How about if the same mentality went on with cars? ... Only three of the four wheels work, the fourth will be working if you download a patch a week after purchase?
Or the mentality in the food industry... oh, we forgot to add spice, we'll send you a bag of the spicemix in a week. And if we missed one, we'll send that one a few weeks after.
Or how about buying a computer with all components except from the BIOS. (This has actually happened to me) ...
People are starting to take "patches" for granted, when you pay ~50$ per game, is it too much to ask that you get a fully working game? The fact is that there ofcourse always will be some people with weird computer-setups who won't get it to work, but when the percentage of disappointed customers starts reaching 10% - something is really wrong.

I think the problem with QA is the same reason why you can't find a lego when you are staring at the same pile for 3 hours.
You need to keep cycling in new QA members and swapping out old ones. You need a fresh pair of eyes and some fresh perspectives on the game. No company does this though, they get some alpha testers and leave them there the whole time. Then when they let a few more in, and they start complaining, the old alpha guys are all "shut up you n00bie!!! it's fine the way it is!!! you're just dumb!!!"
Then they release the game and it sucks.

yeah I got this game. Graphics make good use of my nuclear powered pc but the controls suck. Dont get it!
