Hi i was wondering if some one could help me. i flashed my drive with Birdy Hitachi friendly Flasher with Xtreme v1.3 - v2.0 (46) All versions and the burned crackdown and dead rising. they worked no problem. i then burned lost planet and viva pinata but the 360 says the discs are unplayable i copied them on the same discs at the same speed with clone cd. Can any one explain why it says they are unreadable.

Why are you burning with Clone CD? I would only burn with ImgBurn. I burned all my 360 games with ImgBurn and they all work fine.

i tried with imgburn and got two messed up copies both times it stopped at 31%. so thats why i used clone cd worked no probolem for the first two both play great. just the last two i did that dont.

maybe it the games i downloaded then i got the
Viva.Pinata.PAL.MULTI.XBOX360-WAR3X
and the
Lost.Planet.Extreme.Condition.Pal.Xbox360.ALLSTARS
i have a PAL 360 but used the NTSC version of crackdown and the pal version of dead rising. and they worked no problem when burned with clone cd at 2.4 speed on ritek media. the 360 says they are unreadable so i assumed it was coz they hadnt burnt right. i put them back in the pc and it read them no problem. i new this only just flashed my drive and these are they only games i tried. do you have to have a certian firmware version on the drive to play certian game or does one firmware work for all. also do all release have the SS inserted or do i have to do it myself.

Try Verbatim discs. Or maybe your 360 is broken or you just have bad luck because you have a very bad DVD drive. I had such a problem with my first 360, after a few days two games were freezing while other games still worked. In my replaced console all discs were working again.

playing the orginals fine and it playing the copy of crackdown been finished the first island. i will try a couple of the other games i downloaded to see if i can get them to work have to get some different discs if not.

first which burner u have and what media u using
to be 100% sure get pioneer 111 and verbatims, expensive yes but cheaper than paying 60 euro for a single game
burned 20+ games never had a singe coaster

got a smasung SH-S162L useing riket media at the moment coz it the only ones i could get hold of. going to try a couple of the other games i downloaded and see what happens just strange why crackdown and dead rising worked fine but the other 2 dont.

could be bad burn, but i would never used ritek [if thats what u mean] for burning 360 games
better to pay a bit more and get verbs than burning ritek coasters which in the end will cost u same
not sure about your samsung tho, but hell my 3 years old nec does the job so should yours if it supports bitsetting, get http://www.dvdinfopro.com/ to check if it does
