C&C3 Uses a modified version of the C&C Generals Engine so should fair very well on older hardware, people with modern machines should be able to play C&C3 with all bells and whistles enabled at high resolutions. |
EA said it is BFME2 engine.
PC: Yes. Console: No.

Which is also the SAGE engine which generals ran on. Though its highly visible how modified and improved SAGE has become over the years.

The charm of C&C has always been the B-movie/cheesy acting in the video sequences. Maybe you're not looking for that, well, then you can always buy a DVD-movie

Command & Conquer 3 Demo Hands-on
We've got the scoop on next week's demo release for EA's latest entry into the long lived C&C series.
http://pc.ign.com/articles/767/767652p1.html
In any case, you can expect to see this demo hit sometime next week. Our guess is that it will be earlier rather than later, but you never know. So take a look at the screens in the media section and look forward to downloading the demo at Fileplanet very soon!

I got an email this morning from fileplanet saying the demo was coming soon and my subscriber downloader has started checking for it every 3 hours rather than every 8..

The fileplanet dl manager is probably harmless. My best guess is that its only use is to regulate the downloads and prevent leeching.

Only me who thinks the screens look like crap? Maybe not utterly crap but really not very nice.
